These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and the services of ECW (Edirisingha Cushion Works), part of the Edirisingha Group of Companies (“ECW”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
“Services” means vehicle modification, customization, interior and upholstery (cushion) work, fittings, accessories, related products and any other work we agree to carry out. “Customer”, “you” means the person or entity engaging our Services or using our website.
You agree to use our website lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt its operation, or use it in any way that infringes the rights of others. We may suspend or restrict access if these Terms are breached.
Quotations and estimates are provided based on the information available at the time and are valid for the period stated. Because modification and custom work can reveal additional requirements once work begins, the final price may differ from an initial estimate. We will inform you of any material change and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work.
Bookings are confirmed once we accept your request and, where applicable, you pay any required deposit or advance. Timelines provided are good-faith estimates and may be affected by parts availability, the condition of your vehicle, the scope of work, and circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you informed of significant changes to agreed timelines.
All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless stated otherwise. We may require a deposit or advance payment before commencing work, with the balance payable on or before completion and collection of the vehicle or goods. Title to any parts, accessories or products remains with ECW until payment is received in full. Accepted payment methods are as communicated at the time of booking.
You agree to: provide accurate information about yourself and your vehicle; ensure you are the owner of the vehicle or are authorised to commission the work; remove personal belongings and valuables before handing over the vehicle; and collect your vehicle or goods promptly once notified that the work is complete. Storage charges may apply for items not collected within a reasonable period.
We carry out our Services with reasonable skill and care. Where a warranty applies to specific workmanship, materials or fitted products, the scope and duration will be communicated to you. Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised alterations, or issues caused by third parties. If you ask us to fit parts, materials or accessories that you supply, we do not warrant those items and are not responsible for their performance, quality or compatibility. Labour charges still apply.
While your vehicle is in our care, we will take reasonable steps to keep it secure. However, you remain responsible for ensuring your vehicle is appropriately insured. We are not liable for loss or damage to items left inside the vehicle.
All content on our website — including text, logos, designs, photographs of our work and graphics — is owned by or licensed to ECW and the Edirisingha Group of Companies and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our prior written permission. We may photograph completed work for our portfolio and marketing; let us know in advance if you prefer your project not to be featured.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ECW shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from any Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify ECW against claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our website, or your provision of inaccurate information.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices, and accessing them is at your own risk.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our website or Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
